Ferry ticket discounts

Ferry companies are introducing new and attractive offers for ferry tickets, aiming to attract more passengers. The announcements include various types of discounts that cover different routes and periods.

Ferry companies such as Attica Group, Fast Ferries, Golden Star Ferries, and Seajets have implemented ticket price reductions in order to attract more passengers and encourage travel to the Greek islands. These offers include various types of discounts and privileges for different passenger groups.

Attica Group

Attica Group, the parent company of ferry companies Blue Star Ferries and Hellenic Seaways, offers various promotions and discounts for summer transportation on Greek ferry routes. Specifically, the offers include:

  1. 50% discount for Social Tourism tickets to all destinations served by the Group in the Cyclades, Saronic, Dodecanese, Northern Aegean, Sporades, and Crete, with a payment of only 5% of the total fare.
  2. 40% discount for passenger tickets and cars for vacations on the islands of Leros, Kos, Chios, Lesvos, and Samos, according to the HOTEL & FERRY program, which supports efforts to reverse the negative climate caused by the refugee crisis.

An increase from 40,000 to 100,000 discount tickets worth €20.

An increase in the 20% discount provision from 80,000 to 125,000 tickets for economy class on over 5,000 ferry routes to the Group's island destinations.

Additionally, Attica Group offers other discounts and promotions for SeaSmiles members, Cosmote and Vodafone subscribers, as well as groups, students, large families, NAT retirees, children, and cooperating businesses in accommodation, dining, technology, health and beauty, culture, and entertainment on the islands served by Attica Group ships.

Fast Ferries

Fast Ferries announces the launch of a new initiative aimed at increasing visits to the islands it serves with its routes. Specifically, Fast Ferries will offer a special "Discounted Fare Day" every Wednesday.

During these days, passengers will enjoy a 20% reduced fare on all Fast Ferries routes from Rafina to the islands of Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Naxos, and return routes to Rafina. The discount applies to all passenger seats, as well as to passenger cars and motorcycles.

Furthermore, Fast Ferries offers additional commercial discounts on all its routes during the entire sailing period. These discounts include:

  1. 30% discount for tickets of three-child families.
  2. 25% discount for tickets of uniformed personnel (military and police) and their vehicles.
  3. 25% discount for retirees of the Hellenic Merchant Marine Academy (N.A.T.).
  4. 30% discount on same-day return tickets.
  5. 50% discount for children aged 6 to 10.
  6. 50% discount for the transportation of sports and cultural clubs between the islands and to and from Rafina.

Moreover, the company offers the customer loyalty program "Fast Friends," through which customers can collect points and enjoy discounts or free tickets.

Golden Star Ferries

Apart from the mandatory discounts provided by the law for people with disabilities, large families, and students, Golden Star Ferries offers commercial discounts for families with three children, uniformed personnel, and retired sailors across its entire fleet.

Furthermore, the company has long been providing attractive offers for the Superexpress high-speed ferry, which, in several cases, reach conventional ferry fare levels. Additionally, there are reduced prices for group travels.

The company also announces a new offer, providing a 20% discount on individual tickets (economy class, distinguished seat, and airline-type seat) as well as for cars and motorcycles on its conventional vessels.

Seajets

Seajets is implementing new discounts, taking into consideration the difficulties faced by Greek families due to inflation and high costs.

Specifically, the company has announced the expansion of its discount policy, offering the following additional discounts:

  1. 30% discount for families with four members.
  2. 30% discount on return tickets for passengers and vehicles with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets on specific routes.
  3. 20% discount for permanent residents of all Aegean islands on specific routes.
  4. 30% discount for families with three children on return passenger tickets with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets on specific routes.

These discounts aim to provide relief to passengers and encourage travel to the Greek island areas. The company has already implemented price reductions of up to 19% compared to the previous year and offers discounts on various routes favored by Greek travelers.

Additionally, Seajets offers special discounts for various cultural and religious interest itineraries and excursions. The following discounts are available:

For routes to/from Volos and the Sporades:

  • 25% discount on return tickets for passengers and vehicles with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets.

For routes to/from Rafina and the destinations of Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, and Paros:

  • 25% discount on return tickets for passengers and vehicles with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets.

For routes to/from Thessaloniki and the destinations of Lemnos and Lesvos:

  • 25% discount on return tickets for passengers and vehicles with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets.

Furthermore, for one-day excursions to cultural and religious sites on Delos and Panagia of Tinos, the following discounts apply:

  1. 50% discount on return tickets for passengers from Paros to Mykonos with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets on the same day.
  2. 40% discount on return tickets for passengers from Naxos to Mykonos with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets on the same day.
  3. 30% discount on return tickets for passengers from Paros to Tinos with the simultaneous purchase of round-trip tickets on the same day.

Additionally, the Seajets Group is in discussions with relevant ministries for granting a 15% discount to Market Pass beneficiaries, which will be activated within 5 working days from the date of operational interconnection with the Market Pass registry system.
