Travelling with pets οn board
If you are planning to travel with your pet, we inform you that all ferry companies allow pets on board. However, there are certain regulations that must be followed...
During the reservation process, passengers must specify that they intend to travel with a pet.
- Your pet must have a valid health passport or pet passport.
- Pets are not allowed to travel without an accompanying person.
- Pet owners are responsible for the care, safety, and hygiene of their animals.
- Owners are also liable for any damage or harm caused by their pet to third parties.
Depending on the company and ship you choose, you will find specially designed spaces or cages for dogs and cats on board. Some companies even offer special cabins that allow pets (Pet Friendly Cabins) at an additional cost. Other small pets such as hamsters, birds, and rabbits are also allowed, provided they remain in their cages during the journey. Note that pets are not allowed in the common areas of the ship. When transporting them through stairs or corridors, they must remain in their cages or wear a leash and muzzle. Cabins where pets are allowed are marked as "Pet Friendly Cabins" in the reservation system.
